    School tours and workshops link closely with Primary and Post-Primary curricula, designed to enthral and engage students of all ages, and we offer a range of effective learning materials for use both before and after your visit. We also offer tailored tours and workshops for Third-Level students, language students and Lifelong learners.

    Glasnevin Cemetery Learning Portal 

    The Learning Portal is a new and exciting educational offering. Explore the interactive Timeline and Map to discover the origins of Glasnevin Cemetery. Learn about the lives and experiences of individual people in the past, and further consider life during the years 1912-23. The Story Gallery contains a series of short films and a collection of gallery images provides further information. Differentiated Learning Activities ensure that the content can be enjoyed by many learners and a selection of tailored resources and classroom quizzes feature throughout. Choose to explore the Learning Portal through Irish or English.

    With a focus on the years 1912-23, and direct links to both Primary and Post-Primary studies, this online platform will support and engage students in their discovery of the past, while also encouraging schools to connect their local area to national and international events.
