Palmerstown Burials

Opened in 1978, Palmerstown Cemetery reflects the urban setting and modern lawn-style design of the period. Featuring uniform border graves set across a broad expanse of land and surrounded by maturing trees, the cemetery is designed to capture a sense balance and serenity.

    How to Arrange a Burial

There are no new burials spaces available in Palmerstown Cemetery, but burials may take place if there is an existing family plot. Our experienced staff are here to advise you, and if a family plot is available your next port of call is to contact a Funeral Director who will assist you in planning and ensure important documentation is provided in liaison with our staff.

    Columbarium Wall

For those who have chosen to be cremated, the Colmbarium Wall at Palmerstown Cemetery provides a final resting place for loved ones and a peaceful space for families and friends to return to and honour their memory.

The wall contains a series of small niches, designed for the placement of an urn containing ashes of the deceased behind an engraved limestone memorial plaque. Families may visit the cemetery to select a niche, or our experienced staff will make the selection on your behalf.

Many families opt to gather and inter the ashes together in a ceremony. Niches may be reserved a the time of cremation alongside a family member. Please contact us for advice on how this option can be tailored to meet your requirements.
